A striking Art Deco era Czech glass sautoir necklace featuring beautifully molded cobalt blue glass drops with natural banded striations that imitate agate.

The necklace combines delicate elongated chain links with decorative stamped geometric panels, a design strongly associated with Bohemian jewelry production in the Jablonec (formerly Gablonz) region during the 1920s–1930s. The dramatic glass pendant creates the elegant long silhouette characteristic of sautoir necklaces popular in the Art Deco period.

The metal components appear to be a nickel alloy often referred to as nickel silver or alpacca, a material widely used in early European costume jewelry. The surface has developed a soft matte silver patina consistent with age and wear.

An elegant example of early European costume jewelry and a beautiful statement piece for collectors of Czech glass jewelry or Art Deco design.
