A spectacular specimen of Mid-Century organic design, this large Red Abalone footed bowl is a study in natural iridescence and structural elevation. The interior nacre is exceptionally vivid, swirling with "peacock" tones of mint, rose, and deep violet.
Elevated by three hand-cast Lucite tripod feet, the shell is presented as a sculptural work of functional art. This specific tripod silhouette was a hallmark of Mid-Century Modern tabletop design, intended to lift the organic form and allow light to pass beneath it. Whether used as a jewelry cache or a standalone centerpiece, it brings a sophisticated maritime history to the modern interior.
