Heavy crystal glass votive designed by Rune Strand for Nybro of Sweden. Known variously as Volcano, Iceberg, or simply Rune Strand, the sculptural form features deeply textured vertical ridges reminiscent of frozen water or flowing lava.
Designed to hold a votive or tea light, the thick crystal catches and refracts light dramatically, functioning as both illumination and object.
