A large-scale statement of material purity, this archival Charles Albert pendant is a deliberate study in natural form. Dating to the early 2000s, this piece is crafted from .950 Fine Sterling silver—a superior alloy containing 95% pure silver, which offers a denser, more luxurious heft than today’s standard .925 sterling.

The form is simple and sculptural, allowing the natural surface of the high-grade abalone shell to take focus. The iridescent layers shift between soft sea-pearl, weathered grey, and sudden flashes of emerald and coral. By leaving the organic contour of the shell intact, the design emphasizes the specimen’s "found" quality—reading more like a coastal artifact than traditional jewelry.

Substantial in scale and presence, this is a singular object with a quiet, material-driven power. A foundational piece for the Littoral: Tidal Forms collection.
