A significant archival find from Trifari’s celebrated "Fantasies" collection. This swallowtail in flight represents the peak of mid-century illustrative jewelry design, where the natural world was reimagined through a lens of sophisticated whimsy and superior craftsmanship.
This piece features the post-1955 Crown Trifari hallmark, including the copyright symbol—a mark introduced after jewelry was legally recognized as a protected art form. It originates from the "Golden Era" of the firm’s production under the influence of Alfred Philippe, characterized by the exceptional quality of its brushed "Trifarium" gold-plating and hand-set glass cabochons.
Design Details:
Motif: A dynamic swallowtail silhouette in mid-ascent, a hallmark of the 1960s "Fantasies" series.
Material: Heavy brushed gold-plated Trifanium finish with a luminous satin texture.
The Body: A large, vibrant Kelly Green lucite cabochon with a high-dome polish.
Accents: A single, deep-green rhinestone serves as a sharp, brilliant eye detail.

Condition Grade: Excellent Vintage. The gilded finish remains bright and consistent across the textured wings, and the lucite cabochon is free of notable wear.
Dimensions: Approximately 1.5" Height x 2" Width.
